Bandai-Namco is about to release its latest action RPG adventure game, Code Vein. With fights, characters, and even customizable class changes during the game, the excitement only increases. The official release date is September 27. However, depending on your time zone, you might end up on September 26th. We'll cover publishing and how to preload your copy here.

If you've marked your calendar, you've probably marked it for Friday, September 27. Now check in Steam if you're inclined to get it from there. As of this writing, it is coming out in six hours. This puts the exit at around 14:00 p.m. PDT.
This is not unheard of. Borderlands 3 is doing something similar with their release, allowing certain time zones to play it earlier than the official date. As someone stuck in one of the later time zones, I appreciate this.
For those using the game on a console, you may have to wait for the official date. If you plan to get a physical copy of the game, you will also have to wait for the official release.
Preload guide:
So you buy it digitally. Awesome! While you wait, throbbing with anticipation, you can preload it early on your computer. You won't be able to play the game until it unlocks for you.
One of the main benefits of preloading a game is to reduce some download time. When it is officially released, traffic will increase as more players download the game. Preloading simply lets you skip that digital rush hour.
I used Steam for this purchase, but it's a similar process for most distributors. Once you've purchased the game, check your library. Select the game. From there you should see a “Preload Now” button or something similar. Click on this option and the game will start to download.
Now all you have to do is wait for the download to finish and plan how your client will look and load.
