Even the third step seems like a daunting task for the community, totaling over a billion polarized fractals, and it doesn't even hit half the goals scale. If you're reading this, you probably understand that this resource isn't the most plentiful or easiest thing to find, but that's why this guide on how to cultivate the polarized divide exists. We're here to help you where you need it, Guardian, because we need you too.
Saint-14 has entrusted each of us with a gargantuan responsibility, but unlike the quest for the Corridors of Time, which has left most of the community bewildered and left waiting for an incredible team of determined players to solve it, it is is an event that any goalkeeper can participate, whether or not a paid season pass holder. Additionally, activities that earn Fractal are character-specific (not account-specific), so you can double or triple your harvest of fractals by playing with two or three characters, respectively, if you can find the time to grind. Without further ado, let's dive in.
Obelisks and Obelisk Bounties
This Fractalin Farming Guide is best understood with this Obelisk Companion Guide as you familiarize yourself with the strategies discussed in each.
How to Cultivate the Polarized Fractal with Obelisks:
- Unlock each of the four obelisks located in L'EDZ, The Tangled Shore, Nessus, et March, then increase each of their Resonance ranks, one at a time, at rank 11, where the benefits which further improve your acquisition efficiency of Fractaline are at their maximum.
- Refer to Obelisk Companion Guide to find the Obelisk Upgrade Fallen that's best for you based on their perks and player preferences.
- It takes 200 polarized fractal to increase the resonance of each obelisk by a level, so be selective with your choices of Timelost weapon bounties.
- At the Tower Obelisk, you can purchase up to 6 fractal skimmers per week per account (NOT per character) for 5000 Glimmer each. Find them in your inventory and activate them to increase your chances of getting 100 Polarized Fractaline during activities. Once used, the effect lasts until you get one drop of Fractaline from activity for 600 polarized fractals per week.
- Un character: 2 weekly bounties per obelisk for a total of 8 weekly bounties at 100 Fractaline each, or 800 Fractaline per week (4 levels of obelisk).
- Two characters: 4 weekly bounties per obelisk for a total of 16 weekly bounties at 100 Fractaline each, or 1600 Fractaline per week (8 levels of obelisk).
- Trois characters: 6 weekly bounties per obelisk for a total of 24 weekly bounties at 100 Fractaline each, or 2400 Fractaline per week (12 levels of obelisk).
Event-specific agricultural advice for the Empyrean Foundation:
Last week, Bungie outlined the following changes for the event that may help players approach the Empyrean Foundation with a more balanced strategy:
- Each contribution to the Empyrean Foundation costs 100 Fractaline and generates a 25% flat progression for all Timelost weapon bounties in your inventory. Therefore, all weapon bounties held in your inventory will end after 4 contributions (or 400 Fractaline), but be careful not to spend too much of your Fractaline on these bounties as you will earn most of these weapons in the races of the sundial and other activities anyway. - Your Tower Obelisk will generate a Passivealin Fracture for you every week equal to its Resonance Power (1: 1 ratio), which you increase by leveling other Obelisks. After reaching Resonance Rank 11 on each of the other four Obelisks, resume leveling as much as possible to increase the Resonance Power of the Tower Obelisk, which in turn will increase your Passive Fractal Income for the following week.
- Players who donate more than 5000 Polarized Fractaline before the end of the season will earn a Triumph and the emblem below:
Saint-14 Bounties
Completing Saint-14's Bounties is one of the most effective ways to cultivate the Polarized Fractal. Visit it in the tower and get 4 daily bounties (per character) to win 50 Bounty Polarized Fractals. These bounties tend to be quick and easy to complete, especially when stacked with other fractal-generating activities.
- Character: 4 daily bounties for a total of 200 Fractaline per day or 1400 per week (7 levels of obelisk).
- Two characters: 8 daily bounties for a total of 400 Fractaline per day or 2800 per week (14 levels of obelisk).
- Three characters: 12 daily bounties for a total of 600 Fractaline per day or 4200 per week (21 levels of obelisk).
Check your triumphs
While Triumphs are limited and therefore not the best farming method, you should still remember to regularly check your Seasonal Triumphs to collect the Polarized Fractal you have earned. Since you are already grinding Obelisks and Saint-14 Bounties, this will come naturally.
Other activities
Completing the Sundial Races gives players a chance to receive 100 Polarized Fractal rewards, but if you haven't read the Obelisk Companion Guide yet, Start there before performing any non-bounty-generating activities as they contain a wealth of information that can increase the effectiveness of your Fractaline earnings. Almost all of the activities in this game have a chance to drop Fractaline at random, so if you're tired of the grinding bounties, just play whatever you want. Ultimately, you should still be playing this game for your own enjoyment. With so many grinds interspersed between the things we love it can be hard to remember why you got into the game in the first place.
Season pass
Finally, each player will receive a Moderate Fractaline Harvest (50 Fractaline) at level 7 in the Season Pass, which most of us may have already passed. However, if you are a paid season pass holder, you will also earn two Major Fractaline Harvests (100 Fractalins each) at levels 2 and 72. Like Triumphs, these rewards are a one-time offer, so they are not meant to be. being cultivated.
