Often times it can seem that when a bug is eliminated, two more crop up to the surface for game developers, but with a more insidious bug in the world (Covid-19, which unfortunately is not the name of a Friendly Exo Guardian, but an industry-wide threat), developers are temporarily limited to working within the confines of their own homes.
While they haven't been able to fix some issues yet, the dev team still wants you to be aware of the top issues they're investigating so that you can avoid possible setbacks. The publisher is aware that issues not addressed in their disclaimer may still be encountered in the game, and they encourage players to contact support with any questions. This article covers only the information Bungie deems most vital for players. (as in, be aware that these issues are entirely subject to change).
Main issues to be aware of
Activities
- Bomb locations and waypoints on the Map of Eternity in the Crucible Countdown game mode are either in the wrong place or are not visible in the first round.
- Nightfall warnings that require players to have certain mods equipped ignore teammate charges.
Bounties et Quests
Characters
- Even if your chalice is perfect, the Emperor's Wealth Buff will not go away.
- le Benefits of the Web Warlock Arc Grenade will not currently restore energy, nor will it chain nearby enemies with lightning.
- le Hunter weighted knife will miss critical damage points on Vex Goblins.
Eververse
- If you try to buy the Painted eye shell with Shiny dust, you will receive the Beautiful Gravities starship instead.
Exotic
General
- Rewards might not be present in Dating Chests for Garden of Salvation.
- Progress may not be received on Crucible or Iron Banner rewards and quests.
- Brightness slider may not work when in use HDRand dark areas will be barely visible.
Blog
- Dreaming City World Chests won't give you Glimmer.
- A fully designed and modified piece of armor will show that it can no longer be upgraded if you exchange energy, but on exiting and re-entering the armor details screen, the armor piece will be upgraded.
- le Upgrade the Automatic Planetary Material Collection Bunker will not allocate the correct amount of planetary resources.
- le Rifle Reserves mod will not grant you additional rifle ammo reserves.
- le Anti-barrier mod will prevent other explosive damage on the arcs, including the explosive head.
PC Exclusive Concerns
- If your Abandoned licenses has not transferred from Blizzard to Steam, you must try the PC migration again. You may need to log into Steam before trying the migration again.
- Various issues concerning PC migration have been reported by players and are currently under investigation. You can try the migration again through the Bungie PC migration page.
- After verifying the integrity of the game files, you can receive "Problem reading game content" mistakes.
- Offline players in clans, their name will not be displayed, but will display as offline.
