Genshin Impact Player Items

Genshin Impact Player Items

One of the things that makes the player character unique is that they can change the item they use. Several items are used in the game, but only two are currently available to players and more are expected to be added later. Here's a rundown of the items available, including their elemental talents and reactions.

Anemus

Anemo is the name of the wind element in the game. It is the better of the two choices available in terms of combat and elemental reactions. The Anemo element has two passive abilities and three combat talents.

The Anemo element's signing ability is Swirl. Swirl allows wind attacks to take on the properties of other elements. When an Anemo attack comes in contact with Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo elements, it absorbs them and deals damage with that element. This will only work with the first element that the attack comes in contact with.

Foreign ironwind - Your normal attack allows you to make up to five consecutive strikes. Your charged attack quickly delivers two swift strikes imbued with wind damage. Charged attack consumes some stamina.

Palm Vortex - Also called wind blade, this creates a damaging small gust of air in your palm. It damages and knocks back enemies in front of you. This talent will absorb any element in contact with and take on its elemental properties.

Gust - This attack creates a forward moving cyclone that attracts and even picks up enemies in its path. The vortex will take the properties of any element in contact to inflict even more damage. The cyclone explodes at the end of its duration.

Wind Slitting - This passive ability imbues the last attack of a normal attack combo with wind energy. The final blow will deal 60% Anemo damage to any opponent within range.

Second breath - If you kill an opponent with Palm Vortex, you will regenerate 2% of your health for five seconds.

Geo

Geo is the name of the Earth element in Genshin Impact. Geo talents are mainly utilitarian. They can be used to increase your defensive capabilities while dealing increased damage. Geo talents are also very useful for crossing Teyvat and accessing new areas. What's most unique about Geo is that it's more neutral than the other elements, allowing it to do more damage to shields, barriers, and rock outcrops found while exploring the world. Geo has three combat talents and two passive talents.

The characteristic elemental reaction of Geo is Crystallize. This reaction has two main uses, it can reduce damage dealt to enemies or create a shield that absorbs elemental damage. If you hit an opponent with a Geo attack, they have a chance to crystallize and reduce magic damage. If you are using a shield ability such as Breastplate, geo attacks can create an elemental shard that can be picked up by the shield to increase defense against elemental attacks.

Foreign rockblade - Your normal attack allows you to perform combos for up to five consecutive strikes. Your charged attack unleashes two quick Geo-infused strikes that consume stamina.

Starfell Sword - You summon a meteorite that strikes where you aim. Meteor Strike causes an explosion and inflicts Geo AoE damage. The meteorite will stay for a while and can be used as a shield or climbed to reach new places.

Wake of Earth – This attack causes a shock wave that knocks back nearby enemies and causes Geo damage. It also causes enemies to crystallize so that they deal less elemental damage. A stone wall is erected at the end of the shock wave which can be used as a shield.

Broken darkrock - This passive ability reduces Starfell Sword's cooldown by two seconds.

Frenzied stone slide - This passive talent deals 60% AoE Geo damage to surrounding enemies on the last attack of a combo.
