Genshin Impact Xiao Banner Details on "Invitation to Worldly Life"

Xiao Banner “Invitation to Mundane Life” at Genshin Impact runs from February 2 to 17.

The Xiao Banner - "Invitation to Socialite Life" - will go live with version 1.3, which is expected to be around 19pm PST on February 2nd. The Xiao banner will last until February 17, when it will be replaced by the Keqing banner - “Dance of Lanterns”. These two banners last for two weeks instead of the usual three, and miHoYo confirmed in Genshin Impact Version 1.3 patch notes that there will be banners other than Xiao and Keqing during the life of the version. 1.3. No one can guess (although I know who the majority of you will shoot for).

Xiao seeks to be a powerful damage dealer, even though he's selfish like Razor. Xiao will have a rate of increase during his banner (0,6% drop chance) compared to the other 5 stars inside, and the mercy mechanic remains unchanged. Your 90th draw will earn 5 stars, but it's a 50/50 chance of being Xiao. Your 180th draw will be a Guaranteed Xiao, assuming you don't win it before. Your pity for the previous limited banners continues, so be sure to check your draw history before shooting the Xiao Banner.

Alongside Xiao, there are three 4 stars with a rate increase: Diona, Xinyan and Beidou. These are all decent 4 stars, but they don't hold a lantern for two of the 4 stars in the upcoming Keqing Banner. They are still worth it, but it is safe to say that the “Husbando tax” is in full force for the Xiao banner. I would recommend waiting a few days to see how Xiao shakes up the meta before committing attractions to him: he looks great, but you don't want to burn your pity (or real money) on a character you might ultimately regret.
