The Hino's World mobile game is BAZOOKA Studio's latest adventure. The game was released last September for Android and is free to play. PEGI 3 and all the other players, but also an action-adventure platformer where you play a god… The game looks deceptively simple, but actually offers extensive content and we had to see this that is happening.

Development and reception

BAZOOKA Studio is behind many other similar light and fun games like Fruit Garden: Match 3, Food Court - Craze Restaurant Chef, Cooking Games, Jewel Deluxe Free, etc. This title is perhaps the studio's most ambitious project to date, as it targets a large audience with the goal of creating easy-going, light, fun and addicting titles commonly referred to as little games. On Google Play, the Android game from Hino's World has mostly positive feedback with a small sample of votes to be considered respectable. People generally respond positively to parallel Mario play.

story

As mentioned, you play as Hino who is a god or rather the protector of the jungle. He has a good heart and watches over the safety of the sacred forest. In his possession, Hino has 5 Soulstones. They represent 5 good natures in all living beings of the forest: harmony, kindness, confidence, generosity and friendship. With all 5 taken into account, joy and happiness are still preserved in the forest.

However, the evil demons were jealous of happiness and wanted to seize power. So, they stole the Soulstones with the intention of using them for evil purposes. To do this, he must follow the demons, each in their respective mysterious world.

As Hino chases the monsters, he crosses 5 different worlds, each with their own unique theme, dangers, challenges, and enemies thrown at him to stop his quest. Each world is presented as a large map with stages, similar to the one that was originally created in Super Mario Bros. 3. You then go through the stages, each with their own mini-goals and tips, and you try to overcome all the obstacles presented.

This game has a familiar sideways play setting and platform. You jump, double jump, shoot the boomerangs, and try not to die as everything in your path is set up against you, even the scenery. The controls are quite easy, as you have two buttons to move around, one to jump and one to shoot. You can also customize the user interface the way you want from the Options menu.

Some mechanics for defeating monsters are quite familiar, like jumping over their heads and shooting boomerangs at them. You collect coins, but you also collect helper items and buy them from the in-game store. Each level also contains up to 3 stars, and you have to collect them to unlock new worlds. Finally, there is also a lucky mini-game with rewards in the form of in-game currency etc.

Graphics and appearance

While the Hino's World game is very reminiscent of Mario and similar titles, it really does have an amazing and advanced look. The graphics and models are very beautiful and it is guaranteed that they will attract a large audience, while the simple game locks people in. At its heart, it's a retro game, so it definitely deserves points for improving the looks.
