Leveling is a staple of any MMORPG, but in Elsword it takes on new significance. Each character gains access to jobs as you level them up and each job can dramatically change the gameplay. This makes each character and task very unique for players as they progress through the game. Raising your experience level, however, can be a bit overwhelming. Here are some great ways to gain experience to level up quickly and access the jobs and features you want.
Hunting fields and field managers
This is perhaps the easiest way to gain experience in the game. Hunting fields are the most common combat area and each enemy in the area will earn you XP if you beat them. . Each field will also have a chance to spawn a Field Boss. A field boss is similar to the bosses you'll see in dungeons. They are much tougher than normal enemies in a field, and they also lose a lot more experience when defeated. The boss will also drop Evil Soul Orbs which are very useful for gaining experience while using Ariel.
Please note that Field Leaders will not drop anything, including experience, if you are in a field that is 10 levels above or below your current level. You cannot familiarize yourself with one field for too long before having to move on to the next. It's better to just move up to the next Hunting Field rank when you're ready instead of trying to stay on a lower tier.
Ariel
Ariel can be found in any city except Ruben and she will be the best friend of anyone who wants the experience. You can trade in the Evil Soul Orbs you've earned from Field Bosses for Ariel in exchange for a Cube of XP Boost Medals. These cubes contain an EXP boost medal that you can use to increase the experience rate. There are several different medals that can give you an EXP boost ranging from 15% to 100%. The boost percentage is chosen at random and they do not stack. Fortunately, if you have multiple medals, the game will use the one with the highest boost percentage. It's a good idea to keep trading with Ariel until you get a 100% boost. These increases only last for one day, so you will need to get a new one after 24 hours. It's a good idea to get these medals as early as possible during a game session to maximize the experience you gain.
