Before explaining how to start posting ads on Facebook, I must give you some background on what you need to have to be operational on Facebook Ads, the program dedicated to those who do business and want to use the huge flows of users on the well-known social network to stand out.


The main tools to do this are none other than the same post published, which, however, being associated with a sponsorship, will have a better chance of being seen by the public.

Among the most important information for the best configuration and, consequently, the effectiveness of your future advertising campaigns, you must know the options intended for the purpose present on the Facebook page. Only in this way will you be able to understand how to advertise on Facebook in a targeted way. Let's find out together.

To begin, you will need to log into yours Facebook page .: if you are using the PCdal tuo personal Facebook profile, scroll the menu you see on the left of the screen to the item that indicates yours page and click on it, to reach it.


If, on the other hand, I was using the smartphone or tablets, make sure you have installed theFacebook app, otherwise download it from the Google Play Store for Android (or from an alternative store, if you cannot use Google services) or from the App Store for iOS/iPadOS.

But that's not all: you will also need to install the free app Facebook Ads, downloadable from the Google Play Store for devices with operating system Android (or, again, from an alternative store if you don't have Google services). The same app can be found under the name Ads Management on the App Store, if you use a iPhone or iPad.

Once the operation is finished, log in with the same account used for theFacebook app and tap on the item Continue. At this point, touch the wording relating to yours Facebook page ., then touch the button + Create ad.

Before proceeding, whether you work from a PC, smartphone or tablet, focus on the different opportunities you have to place an advertisement through the Facebook Ads system.

You can expand the menu Create a listing and you will be directed to the section Choose a goal, among which you will find the following.

Once you have chosen a goal, the ad preview tab will open and will be set up according to Facebook's suggestions. You can very well leave everything as it is, but I advise you to pay attention especially to the section Public, then to modify it if you know precisely the origin of the potential and / or real customers, to whom the ads will be intended, their age and what they do.

Choose the well too duration and budget to disseminate the sponsored, consistently with the defined objective (for example, if you propose a flash offer of a few days, it is useless to sponsor the post for a month) and, where possible, make sure that the distribution channels of the adverts are multiple (for example Facebook, Instagram e Messenger at the same time).

It could be that you have recently heard of pixel. It is not just a unit of measurement of digital images: it is also the name of yet another tool made available by Facebook to enhance and improve marketing on social channels and websites. So find out with me what it is and how to advertise with Facebook Pixel.

Facebook Pixel is a code element, to be copied within your website, capable of being activated when a user performs an action on it and returning it to you. What do you need this type of data for? To understand if your marketing strategy between devices and different channels works, to propose new offers to customers, based on their preferences (remarketing) and to improve where you seem not to get the desired results.

To take advantage of the Facebook Pixel, you will need to create the code Pixel itself, adding it to all pages of your website and, for example, if you have an e-commerce, you can generate standard actions to be included in the pages dedicated, for example, to the purchase (cart).

By logging into your Facebook page . and then to the Business suite, select the voice Event management and click on the symbol + (Connect your data sources), then choose the item Web and then the option Facebook Pixel. Then click on the entry Fellow worker and type il Pixel name, then enter theURL of your website and press on the item Continue.
