Although its popularity has dropped slightly, Facebook remains one of the most used social networks in the world today. Among its many options, it is not lacking in fact sharing videos, which allow all users to spend a few minutes of tranquility and fun. But what if you somehow wanted to display these same videos on the much larger screen of your home TV? Let's see how to do this by taking advantage of some useful tools.
Use a Chromecast
Let's start with one of the cheapest and most purchased smart dongles to make any TV that is not smart smart (or to expand the functions of TVs already equipped with a smart part). The Chromecast is produced and offered directly by Google and this translates into one almost total compatibility with any streaming application.
Once purchased, installed and configured on your TV, it can be used as a sort of "bridge" between video streaming apps and the TV screen. Obviously the everything will work on both iOS and Android.
In fact, all that will need to be done will be: start the Chromecast HDMI source, start the Facebook video from the smartphone and click on the casting button, identical for any compatible platform.
As you can see from the image above, the whole thing it can also be run from the Chrome web browser, simply by visiting Facebook, playing the video and starting the casting.
Use a Fire TV
Certainly the most popular and used alternative to Chromecast. Amazon's Fire TV comes in various shapes and price ranges, making it one of the most popular dongles. Unfortunately, however, unlike the Chromecast, this will not be able to connect officially and directly to smartphones (there are ways but rather cumbersome that do not always work), but it will still be possible to view Facebook videos.
The answer to the problem in this case is in fact simpler than you think. Anyone who owns a Fire TV knows very well that the operating system inside offers a digital store of applications, within which there is no lack "Facebook Watch". Therefore, it will be enough to download the aforementioned app and start browsing the various contents.
Use an Apple TV or AirPlay
Definitely a more expensive solution and that not everyone knows. Apple TV can be seen as a kind of amalgamation of the two previously seen dongles, as has both an application store and a transmission protocol (which only works with Apple devices). As a first solution, we therefore invite you to visit the App Store in the Apple TV menu and download "Facebook Watch", official app of the same social network.

Before moving on to the last method, however, we remind you that on some of the latest generation televisions the AirPlay 2 protocol is standard, which can obviously be used as seen above and without installing an Apple TV.
Use an Android TV
This category includes all those external devices similar to Apple TV, but which offer an interface based on Android. In fact, in addition to the many dongles (and the like), even some latest generation TVs, instead of focusing on a proprietary smart system, have decided to include the aforementioned operating system as standard. So if you fall into one of these categories, it will be enough download the “Facebook Watch” app from the Play Store (pre-installed) and enjoy all the content.
In addition, some of these Android TV devices also have protocol casting, which means that it will be possible send Facebook contents directly from the mobile device as explained in the first paragraph.
