How to use voice recognition in Pokémon HOME

The HOME Pokémon app works from your smartphone and your Nintendo Switch. With it, you can transfer Pokémon from your Pokémon bank, Pokémon Go, Let's Go Eevee or Let's Go Pikachu, and Pokémon Sword and Shield. When you connect it to transfer your Pokemon, you can trade them with strangers or friends, organize them with tags, earn more mystery boxes, or even participate in the miracle box to trade them at random. Because you can use it from a mobile device, you can use it with voice recognition.

However, you can't use everything with voice recognition. Only a handful of features register, and you need to know what they are because they will have a microphone next to them in your mobile app.

For example, when you go to your Pokémon box to see all of your Pokémon, you can click on the search bar to find a specific one in your collection. When you do this, you have the option of choosing the name, types, gender, nature, and ability of the Pokémon if you know it all off the top of your head. Among the choices, you can only use voice recognition for the name of the Pokémon. Click on the microphone, and after recording it, you should be able to pronounce the name of the Pokémon you're looking for in your boxes. The same goes for finding a Pokémon in GTS in the trading section.

It seems HOME Pokémon is struggling to recognize most smartphone microphones at the moment. The app tries to connect to the microphone but doesn't, prompting you to try tapping the icon again. No matter how many times you hit it, it doesn't work. For now, the problem will persist and there is no workaround. This guide will receive updates when the issue is resolved.
