List of Valorant agent levels for patch 1.0

List of Valorant agent levels for patch 1.0

With the full release of Valorant comes a host of balance changes, as well as a brand new agent in the mix in the form of Reyna. As always, the changes affect the quality of the team builds you can create, with some agents proving more useful than others in certain situations.

As a result, the priority you need to choose and train agents to play is constantly changing. However, our tier list will allow you to maximize your team's production and achieve victories on a consistent basis. For this tier list, it will only be for Unrated and Ranked game modes. The new advanced peak mode is not taken into account.

New Agent Reyna is also not on the roster as she has just been added to the game, with little time to assess where she settles in the meta.

Here is our list of Valorant agent levels, from best to worst:

Level S

Sage - Sentinel

While the release patch saw her receiving other nerves in her Wall Orb and Healing Orb, Sage is still the best agent in the game for the simple reason that she is unique as a healer on the team. . All of his abilities still offer amazing utility, while his ultimate can literally change the game. Until another character who can heal others is released, Sage is unlikely to go anywhere.

Cypher – Sentinel

In a game where working as a team is essential to victory, having access to as much information as possible is where the game is won and lost. Knowing your enemy's location can triumph over a good objective. Cypher is by far the best agent for setting up play areas in the game.

Traps and cameras, triggered or destroyed, can provide information about the enemy's position, and their ultimate can easily disrupt all enemy plans. He is the most powerful defensive agent in the game, but he can also be useful on offense.

A-Tier

Brimstone - Controller

Brimstone is an expert at delaying tactics and controlling the playing field. His smokescreen is one of the most versatile abilities in the game both on offense and defense, meaning the enemy will have to sidestep. '' adapt quickly to lack of vision and information while Brimstone can keep his team running on the right site.

His incendiary ability is also very useful for preventing enemies from pushing while still dealing decent damage, and if you can trap an enemy team in a corner, his ultimate can wipe out an entire team. He's incredibly useful as a team player and should be seen as a go-to choice.

Sova - Initiator

With a signature recharge ability to gain vision on enemies every 30 seconds, Sova is a great option to read the map, while her owl drone can also provide valuable data during the attack that forces opponents to reposition themselves without endangering the team.

The reason he doesn't join Cypher in S-Tier is that not only do you have to be more proactive with his reconnaissance, but you can only use his kit to cover a bomb site. He's not quite as flexible on defense, so his ultimate can come in handy, but only if you hit the recons, and even then it can be avoided quite easily. However, he remains a very powerful agent.

Breach - Initiator

As Premier Valorant, Breach is incredibly good at his job. The flash in his kit can be triggered from and hit almost any location, so with smart use he can blind an entire team with just one ability. His Fault Line ability can also be a powerful tool, especially against common campsites without using a flash, as the stun effect severely disadvantages the enemy for a good period of time. Her ultimate is also fantastic for separating enemies by a point to keep you going.

He's not the only character who works as an initiator on sites, but he's the best right now.

Level B

Phoenix - Duelists

The best of the duelists, Phoenix also functions as an initiator with a wall that has enough uptime to allow site pushing, a fire reserve that can double as self-healing or damaging zone ability, and a flash that is much less impactful for team play than the Breach flash, but still good as a self-push option.

His ultimate is also incredibly powerful, though the caveat with Phoenix is that he's brutal in the right hands. If you have an above average aim, you can upgrade Phoenix to A level. Otherwise, he's still powerful enough to be in B-Tier.

Viper - Controller

Viper's strength lies in its poisoned walls and domes which can be reused to facilitate the launch of attacks on safe sites. Typically, a sulfur or omen may be needed to help with domes or a phoenix with a wall. However, Viper can do both, allowing teams to set their pace much better as she can engage both whenever needed, with the added bonus that the dome can be picked up to be reused or saved for the next round.

She can also limit vision and target enemies well with Snake Bite, but she doesn't do that as well as a Brimstone due to her more versatile, targeted smokescreen. Her ultimate is also low, but the ability set is good enough to make her more than viable.

C-Tier

Omen - Controller

Valorant's brooding figure is one of the funniest characters to play as his kit lends itself well to enemy jumps with surprise teleports. Its Dark Cover orb can also be placed anywhere on the map, which is more flexible than Viper and Brimstone's abilities, although the interior is transparent, which limits its push or defense potential.

However, his kit is also very situational, his ultimate can be telegraphed too easily, and a smart player will always check corners, meaning if you're not a good shot, entering those flanking areas is very difficult without being spotted. . Omen can be great in good hands, but his aggression is a very high risk, high reward game and sometimes it doesn't work so well on a slower paced game like Valorant.

Raze - Duelists

Raze is a controversial figure. She's the only agent in the game to have a full kit that offends rather than a mixture of aggression and utility, and many believed she was overpowered because of it, and has been nerfed since her release. Unfortunately, this is also the reason she is at a lower C level.

His grenade can be dangerous but is easy to dodge and generally relegated to use for enemy zoning, and while his Paint Shells saddlebag does offer a rocket boost in the air, it's simply a worse version of the boost boost. de Jett and is only fully utilized in his ultimate as midair fire is not a viable option. She can still deliver the element of surprise with this, and her Boom Bot can come in handy for scouting, but it doesn't seem out of place with the rest of her more aggressive kit. The Ultimate Rocket Launcher, if not downed before removing it, can destroy enemy teams, which is why it is not in rank D.

Level D

Jett - duel list

The pace of a game like Valorant is much slower and more methodical than the likes of Call of Duty, where speed can make a huge difference. This means that an agent like Jett, who uses jumps and dashes to get ahead of the pack, is against the philosophy of the game and despite being one of the funniest characters in Valorant because of it. of that, she is also the weakest.

Defending on most maps means finding a place to cover entrances and choke points. This means that an aggressive Jett should be able to shoot very quickly in order to avoid being shot down early. Her ultimate is arguably the worst in the game and is only really useful when she's in the air, and the smoke duration is often too short to have an impact. Jett has the highest carry potential of any agent in the game due to her agility, but it requires an exceptional player to use her, and the chances of that happening are too low to place her any higher.
