iGreen Smart Eyewear

GreenVision launches iGreen Smart Eyewear, the latest generation eyewear. Which, thanks to Bluetooth 5.0 technology, they can connect to devices and allow you to make calls, listen to music and always stay connected with all the most common voice assistants.

We have tested for you the iGreen Smart Eyewear, launched a few weeks ago on the market.

GreenVision: quality and innovation

GreenVision, born in 1992, is the brand of the Optical Centers associated with the Italian Optical Consortium, which can count on over 500 optical stores throughout Italy.

The associative reality, a point of reference for quality optics in Italy, has its own eyewear lines, always developed in the name of quality and technological innovation.

iGreen Smart Eyewear

In the press release for the presentation of iGreen Smart Eyewear, GreenVision talks about a product that continues the "mission of renewal of the sector".

The idea is to revolutionize the concept of smart eyewear. It is no longer a technological gadget for those obsessed with every tech novelty nor a tool for augmented reality which, almost by chance, is also a pair of glasses.

Here the path is the opposite: we are faced with a pair of innovative glasses designed by those who make quality optics, to meet the needs of those who - for professional reasons or personal taste - spend a good part of their day connected to a smartphone or any other device.

It is no coincidence that the motto of the product is Smart glasses for smart people.

What are iGreen Smart Eyewear

- iGreen Smart Eyewear are, above all, a pair of high quality glasses. Both in the acetate frame (resistant to water, scratches and dust) and in the lenses, available in neutral or graduated, prescription or sun shades.

Each pair of lenses, like the (neutral) ones of the model we tested, have the precious blue light filter, which allows you to spend hours in front of bright screens without straining your eyes. Here is the first wink to those who must, or want, spend most of their time with their eyes divided between computers and smartphones.

But iGreen Smart Eyewear are much more.

Smart glasses for smart people

The product can be easily connected to any device using the latest generation Bluetooth 5.0 technology.

Once the connection has been created, the connection always occurs automatically, and remains reliable and stable up to 9 meters away.

With iGreen Smart Eyewear it is therefore possible to send commands to the main voice assistants, make phone calls and listen to music.

All this thanks to a high quality system, consisting of directional stereo earphones and a microphone that always returns a clear voice, without environmental interference.

The high-capacity lithium battery charges fully in two hours. And it guarantees an autonomy of about 160 hours in stand-by, 6 hours of continuous phone calls and 4 hours of continuous listening to music.

The magnetic charging connector, with micro-USB output, must be hooked inside both rods.

All in two buttons

Yes, a sheet with some double-sided indications is enough to learn the few and intuitive commands of the iGreen Smart Eyewear, whose functions all pass through two small buttons positioned on the lower face of the two rods.

You can increase and decrease the volume, activate and deactivate the voice assistant, adjust and select music and manage a call, as well as, of course, switch the product on and off. Which, after five minutes of inactivity, turns itself off.

The test and our considerations

There is not much to say about the usefulness of the product. Which, among other things, it has a cost completely in line with any good pair of eyeglasses.

We have tested for a long time its three main functions, namely the management of phone calls, listening to music and (an activity that supervises everything) the dialogue with the virtual assistant.

The connection has always been stable, and the possibility of giving directions with the voice reduces the use of the fingers to almost zero, which remain free to type on the keyboard. Or that allow you to easily take notes on call. Priceless, if you receive a phone call of pleasure, leave the screen for a few minutes without having to take your smartphone with you. For those who, like the writer of this article, work from home, it can be a time to take care of small household chores.

Equally pleasant the iGreen Smart Eyewear turned out to be outdoors. We tried them on walks and bike rides, both for phone calls and for listening to music. The quality of the sound and the voice (even from those on the other side of the call, trusting in his honesty) have always been excellent.

We add a point in favor of safety: especially during sports, the ear always remains free. There is therefore no sound insulation from the outside, with all the risks it would entail.

In short, it is difficult to find a fault with this product which, for those used to tinkering with one or more devices, is really practical, simple to use and with an attractive design.
