PUBG's replay feature can be frustrating and difficult to navigate, without clear in-game guidance once you get to your desired replay sequence. This guide will take you step by step through the use of the replay system and cover the main commands that are most useful in directly accessing the desired replay.
PUBG records all games played, as well as the perspectives of all other players. This provides a great method to review your “Chicken Dinner” wins or to monitor how your opponents managed to take you down, directly from their perspective.
To access your in-game reruns, go to Main menu> Career> Replays and select the game of your choice.
The replay will take place immediately from the moment the plane begins to fly over the map and by default follows your character's perspective in-game. Below is a list of the main controls of the PUBG replay system.
Controls and explanations
- J - Activate / deactivate the timeline - A timeline will appear at the bottom of the screen, which can be selected with the left click button anywhere along the bar to jump at any point in the game. You can also pause, stop and change the recording speed from here, among others
- TAB - Activate / deactivate the list of players - A player list will appear on the left side of the screen, showing the full list of players on the server. Click on any of the players' names to access their perspective.
- B - Return to your character - Immediately switch to your character's perspective.
- M - Open map - Once opened, icons of all living players are visible. Selecting a player with a left click will change to their perspective.
- F camera or no space - Move your camera with "WASD", left click on the screen and drag the mouse to rotate accordingly.
- Y - Third person show - Switch to third person perspective and left click to switch back to first person perspective
