Resident Evil 3 - How to Heal

Resident Evil 3 - How to Heal

Heal your inventory using first aid spray or herbs

In Resident Evil 3, you don't heal in the middle of the action. If you have to do it, you have to reassemble your inventory. This will put the world around you on hiatus (unless you're playing Resident Evil Resistance), so you don't have to worry about Nemesis ending while you boost your health.

The inventory tab also displays your health via a heart rate sensor in the lower left corner of the HUB. Green is healthy, yellow means you're in trouble, and red means you're knocking on the door of death. Jill will also modify her walking animation to indicate what state she is in, so if she squeezes her flank in pain and limps, it's time to heal.

Healing can be done with one of two things: a first aid spray or a mixture of herbs. First Aid Sprays are rarer than Herbs, but they only take one inventory slot, heal you to maximum health, and do not need to be crafted.

Herbs, on the other hand, are more common, but must be mixed to have long-standing value. I have a full combination guide that you should use for reference, but the basic breakdown is: mix green herbs with other green herbs or red herb to get the most out of it. The problem with herbs is the amount of inventory space they take up, so you need to combine the herbs as needed and store extras in your item box to free up your inventory for key items, weapons, and items. ammunition.
