Synology Inc. today introduced DiskStation DS220j, a 2-bay NAS device for home use that simplifies management and increases the protection of personal data and files.

“Today we are all content creators. We take photos and videos every day with our smartphones and the challenge arises when it comes to effectively managing and protecting these files, "explains Michael Wang, Product Manager of Synology Inc." The DS220j allows anyone to easily set up their own personal and private cloud to store and organize your data from other devices. With this NAS, every home can easily keep their files safe. "

Automatic backups of all files and data

The DS220j allows automatic backup copies of photos stored on the Smartphone, as well as easily managing all content. With Synology Moments photo management solution, all photos, videos and files can be viewed and managed instantly on the NAS, freeing up space on your mobile.

Synology Drive allows users to create their own personal cloud, where they can backup all files in multiple versions. In addition, documents and data can be easily shared and synchronized with other people and between devices.

The DS220j also has the following features:

    • Supports up to 32TB of dual disk storage
    • It is compatible with MacOS Time Machine
    • Allows you to back up and sync with other devices or public clouds

    Developed with Synology DiskStation Manager

The DS220j runs on DiskStation Manager, Synology's robust data management platform, offering file security and more efficient work management. Synology has received numerous media accolades, surpassing the mid-range NAS category in TechTarget's storage solutions survey and winning PCMag Business Choice for the sixth time.
