The best August loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone

Since Call of Duty: Warzone launched, there has been one main submachine gun used, the MP5. Much like standard Modern Warfare Multiplayer, the MP5 dominated the playing field in Verdansk. However, after last week's update, the MP5 isn't as solid as it used to be, giving way for another SMG to come into the fold. Here is the best AUG loadout to use in Warzone after the last patch.

Best AUG loading

The AUG is best known for its high damage and slow mobility in both Modern Warfare and Warzone. Of course, with a few clever attachment maneuvers, we can increase the strengths of the AUG while minimizing its weaknesses.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic suppressor
  • Barrel: Extended 407 mm barrel
  • Stock: Forge TAC CQB Comb
  • Rear handle tape: Dotted handle tape
  • Ammunition: 5,56 NATO drums of 60 rounds

The interest of this load is to improve some of the weaknesses of the AUG. One of its greatest capabilities is the speed of ADS, which we've improved with the Stippled Grip Tape. AUG also tends to trigger with recoil that is quite difficult to control. However, with the monolithic suppressor and the extended 407mm barrel, this problem should mostly be fixed. The monolithic suppressor is ideal for this reason and also saves you from radar when firing.

Finally, we have included the conversion of 5,56 ammunition. Not only do you get more stopping power with these towers, your magazine size is doubled. Of course, it costs mobility, which makes it a bit more difficult to play at close range. So with this load you want to stay medium for the most part. However, you have the option of fending off enemies with accessories such as the Dotted Handle Tape and Forge TAC CQB Comb Stock.
