As you walk around the realm in Rogue Legacy 2, you can live long enough to encounter a strange statue on top of a large room that you have to spinkick to get to the top. The statue holds a particular book in its hand. There is a strange voice speaking to you, giving you the power of empathy if you can pass its test. If you choose to accept, the statue restores your health and mana, sending you into the test. You have to compete with his tricks to get to the end.
The Power of Empathy is a random appearance and something you must find while exploring the realm. There is no exact location for this.
Hidden drop
When you first get to the test, you want to get to the bottom of the tunnel. When you reach the bottom there is a little blue power illumination that you can interact with. Nightmares

These nightmares have a distinct red aura surrounding them. If you try to attack or use your attacks in their aura, they immediately shoot you.
The best way to do this is to use the spinkick on the doors and then move from where you were. To do this, jump a little in the air, push in the door and activate your spinkick. Nightmares should turn to you for a bolt of lightning. It's a bit easy to dodge, but as you move around the room these red auras stack up, getting harder and harder.
