The Pathocyst is a new Infested Glaive weapon added to Warframe with the most recent stage of Nightwave Series 2. The Pathocyst is a throwing weapon, but you can also use it to strike with standard melee attacks. Pathocyst has innate viral damage and a high status chance. The weapon does much more damage when thrown.
How to get the Pathocyst
To get the Pathocyst, you need to farm it from the Zeloid Prelate's new boss fight. This fight is part of the Assassinate Derelict Emissary Missions. You can find them on planets hosting infected epidemics. You will need a Zealot Abandoned Key to gain access to combat. We have a comprehensive guide on how to get to the Battle of the Zeloid Prelate.
Pathocyst consists of three parts: two laminae and the subcortex. You can see that these drop after killing the Zeloid Prelate and they all have the same 33% chance of dropping.
