Borderlands 3 started out with a proven starting level cap number: 50. This is the initial cap for every main game in the series since the first, and it looks like Gearbox doesn't need to change it this time. this time. However, the Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC pack raised the bar even further.
The first level bump happened when the game went from 50 to 53, which happened in February, during the Broken Heart's Day event. At the end of March, with the arrival of the full Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC, players can exceed those expectations to develop further, hitting the next cap of 57. The way Gearbox is developing and pushing these level increases is interesting because Borderlands 2 saw the level increase go from 50 to 61 and then to 72. There doesn't seem to be a separate pattern for Borderlands 3's progress, but it does mean players have a chance to continue leveling up, creating a hunter. even more powerful chest capable of facing more difficult opponents.
The timing is great as you get the chance to explore a whole new planet, Xylourgos, exclusively featured in the Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC Pack. Anyone with access to the Seasonal Membership can start playing it immediately after updating the game or purchase it separately. Given the Borderlands 3 roadmap, we are planning additional level increases going forward. Gearbox hasn't revealed when we can expect it, and they haven't openly shown it on their roadmap for level 57 growth. Given the content to come, this could happen in April or late May. . We may even have to wait until summer to see a further increase.
