When will Warzone be released for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare?

Warzone, the battle royale mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is on the way. We know this because Infinity Ward showed off a cutscene showcasing what appears to be the mode's map in a recent update, and there have been plenty of leaks about the mode over the past couple of weeks. Many people suspected the mode would launch on February 25, but this update was dropped without a Warzone mode site.

When Season 2 originally launched, dataminers discovered four weeks of challenges, but the final four weeks of the season were missing. It's a strong indicator that these challenges contained references to Warzone that Infinity Ward didn't want us to see. This seems to indicate a potential release on March 10. This matches previous reports on the mode getting a March release date.

Warzone has been announced to get a free version for people who don't own the game under the title Call of Duty: Warzone, with an option to upgrade to the full game if they choose. The launch of the mode may also have an impact on the Battle Pass, as Infinity Ward has claimed that there will be no microtransactions in the game. This would imply that a third level will be added to the existing Battle Pass to cover the mode. battle royale when it was launched.

Much like Call of Duty Mobile's Battle Royale Mode, Warzone should contain vehicles that players can use to move around the map. The mode will also feature daily and weekly challenges to complete, assuming they reward items or additional experience to help you level up your battle pass.

Hopefully, we don't have to wait too long to get our hands on Call of Duty: Warzone, and we'll update this article as Infinity Ward and Activision share more news on the mode.
