It takes a while to catch all the Pokémon in the Galar region, but the hardest to find list is hard to find. Pokémon Sword and Shield. There is a decent Pokemon called Grindur that you catch in several places. It is as a Grass and Ice Pokémon that you can then associate a Walnut tree at level 40.
You can find Grindur in these places:
- Motostoke Riverbank during a sandstorm
- Stony Wilderness during a snowstorm
- Bridge field during normal, overcast, rain, thunderstorm, intense sun, snow and hail, snowstorm, sandstorm and heavy fog
- Route 4 in all weather
You want to experience Motostoke Riverbank during a sandstorm for the best chance of catching this elusive Pokémon. You must use a Fighting or Fire-type Pokémon to deal enough damage. The majority of The Grindur Pokémon that you will encounter will range from level 26 to 28, but if you find one on Route 4, it will be much lower, between levels 13 to 15.
You have the option of meeting him in a Max raid in the Wilderness area, but there is a small chance that it will happen. It's best to check the other three locations during those particular weather periods for the maximum chance of capturing an ideal Grindur. If you encounter it in a max level raid, it ranges from 25 to 30.
Keeping this Pokémon on your roster is ideal, especially if you get it early on Route 4. You have the choice of turning it at level 40 into a Walnut Tree, and it remains a Grass and Ice-type Pokémon. You won't need anything special to change it.
