Why can't I download lists or courses in NBA 2K21? - Error

It's an understatement to say that NBA 2K21 hasn't had the smoothest launches. This particularly frustrated those who wanted to create and share custom lists through 2K Share. So, don't worry - you are definitely not the only one. More obvious, if you head to the list of user created lists in the game, there is not a single draft list or class that has been uploaded. All thanks to an error that plagues every year.

Is it because of my connection?

You will first notice the error when attempting to download any of the displayed lists. The screen then indicates that you cannot retrieve the content information, but it is not your fault and has nothing to do with your internet connection. Since NBA 2K15, the error has been a nightmare for fans, and primarily indicates that a 2K server sector is down.

In previous installments, the error lasted from three days to almost two weeks. As 2K has already released two 2K21 updates without acknowledging it, it looks like the bug will last for a considerable amount of time.

Is there a job around?

Currently, die-hard fans have only found one scapegoat. Thanks to the new (currently working) option "MyLeague Share", the creators of the game uploaded their MyLeagues along with their most popular lists. The process can be confusing if you haven't used this feature yet, but we can help you too!

If you are still not happy with the end result, you should try to see if there are any new updates available for the game. This being such a major issue, keep checking back every day or so and hopefully 2K will be reaching fans soon.
