Yamaha unveils its 2020 range at EICMA

Yamaha has recently updated its range for 2020, which will be visible at EICMA 2019 taking place at the Rho Fiera pavilions from 7 to 10 November. Here are some of the new models that the company is launching. 



TMAX 560

For 2020 Yamaha plans to launch its sportiest and most advanced maxi-scooter ever. It is, as usual, part of the TMAX family, but gets the code 560, which practically identifies the displacement, or 560 cc. It also puts on the plate a more aggressive body and revised suspension to be the best TMAX ever. The new engine is compliant with EURO 5 and this model should be ready by the end of next year.


In addition to the new engine and suspension, TMAX 560 also integrates a version 2020 of TMAX Tech Max technologies. Among them stands out a smartphone app that provides GPS tracking, the geofence system to keep the maxi-scooter in a certain area. Other innovations concern the new ones heated grips, cruise control and even a new saddle, also heated. TMAX 560 will be offered in a single gray color with blue wheels. There is currently no pricing information.


Tracer 700

The big news for the sporty segment of the Yamaha range is the Tracer 700. This motorcycle is designed to be something of an “all-rounder”. It is designed for people who want an exciting sporting experience, but need something versatile and drivable that is also suitable for long distances.


Trace 700 is equipped with a 2cc 689-cylinder engine compliant EURO 5 which should guarantee the necessary power for any tourist and sporting need. Comes with a half fairing and streamlined design. Yamaha claims that Trace 700 is the lightest bike in its category with its 196 kg, which means it will be more maneuverable than ever.


The bike has adjustable suspension both in the front and in the rear, an aerodynamic windshield, a contoured seat and a rider position designed for long distance riding. It is offered in Icon Gray, Sonic Gray and Phantom Blue colors. The price has not yet been disclosed.

FJR1300 AS E FJR1300 AE Ultimate Edition

The new FJR1300s have been updated to become EURO 5 compliant and that means they have been made some changes to the 4cc inline 1298-cylinder engine.

The bikes feature electronically adjustable suspension, adjustable windshield, switchable traction control, A&S clutch, shaft drive, cruise control and more. The two versions are similar with the AE Ultimate Edition getting a few more features. Both are designed to grind hundreds of kilometers without any problem and updates should help make it easier to drive than previous models. first.


Both FJR1300s are available in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue colors. Prices have not yet been declared, but the two models will be available in 2020 at Yamaha dealers.

MT-03 E MT-125

They have already been announced but the new MT-03 and MT-125 will finally be able to be admired live. They are both naked and are the smallest in displacement proposed by Yamaha. The MT-03 is equipped with a 321cc engine while the MT-125 gets a 125cc engine. 



L'MT-03 it is equipped with 37mm inverted front forks, high-tech LCD instruments and LED indicators. New dynamic design of the body moved forward, as well as the ergonomic driving position.

La MT-125 gets the following features: assist and slipper clutch, LED headlight, high specification 41mm inverted front forks, aluminum Deltabox frame and swingarm, high performance 41mm inverted front forks, large 140 section rear tire , radial mount front brake caliper and 292mm diameter front disc brake
