Frequent failures of MyQ
Offline - Ensure the myQ device has a connection to the Internet.
Unplug the router and plug it back in and see if this restores the internet connection for the myQ device.
If the myQ device doesn't reconnect, see myQ App Displays Offline.
For Wi-Fi devices, ensure the myQ device doesn't have a low Wi-Fi signal.
The myQ Hub is not connected to the router - Try unplugging your router or modem from its power outlet.
Wait 10-15 seconds and plug it back in.
The router is not connected to the internet - Check with your internet service provider to see if your internet connection is down.
Press and hold the learn button (side) for 6 seconds, the LED under the front button will begin to flash.
Tap the network that begins with MyQ-XXX on the Discovered screen.
Select your home Wi-Fi network from the list.
Enter your network password and tap Next.
The hacker could then jam the MyQ signal once the carrier opens the door and prompt an error message for the user.
If and when the user attempts to close the door, the door will open and grant the attacker access to the home.
To resolve this behavior: After the remote memory on the motor is clear, remove any existing door information from the Wi-Fi Hub.
To clear the Wi-Fi Hub information, press and hold the [1] button on the 821LM for 10 seconds, and then do the same for the [2] button.
