A new collaborative event is taking place in Pokémon Go with Longchamp, the luxury French leather goods store in Paris, on the occasion of Fashion Week which will take place in Paris at the end of September. The event includes various Pokémon appearances, exclusive raid encounters, multiple rewards, and several costumed Pokémon that you can catch in the wild. There's also a free Longchamp Backpack that you can pick up for your avatar for free from the Pokémon Go store during the event, available for a limited time.
The Longchamp and Pokémon Go collaboration event runs from October 2 at 8 a.m. PT to October 8 at 22 p.m. PT. Here's everything going on at the event.
- Special Pokémon wearing costumes will appear during the event.
- Smoochum that hatch 7 km away Eggs during this time will appear with an arc.
- Kirlia wearing a top hat will appear in raids. They will also know the Draining Kiss movement.
- Shinx wearing a top hat will appear in raids.
- Croagunk wearing a back cap will appear in a snapshot as a surprise encounter. They can also rarely appear in the wild.
- These Pokémon will appear in the wild: Mareep, Skitty, Roselia, Kricketot, Croagunk wearing a cap upside down, Blitzle, Cottonee, Minccino, Gothita, etc. Shiny Kricketot is available for the event.
- Enjoy exclusive field research for the duration of the event.
- A free Longchamp avatar backpack is available in the Pokémon Go store, and there will be a similar option that you can purchase from the main website.
The Pokémon wearing the costumes probably won't be able to evolve, unfortunately. The same goes for the Kirlia wearing a kiss-draining top hat exclusively available in raids, along with Shinx. But you can still exchange them for candy to evolve your other Pokémon in your party.
The collaboration event begins October 2 at 8:00 a.m. PT. Take advantage of the increase in Pokémon spawns and add more to your collection.
